Failed to launch item File is not valid exe Thread - Desura

Hello I have a problem...
I install my game through Desura but when I try to launch the game a Desura error pops up!

"Failed to launch itemFailed to launch item The Ancient Mark-Episode 1,File is not valid exe [&#xST;EAMEXE%]. [61.0]"

I realized that had something to do with the install settings of the game, I found a post in the forum and though that I could try to fix the issues, but I can't make any changes in the install settings pages, can someone help me?

It should be already fixed.

"Failed to launch item" error message means that Desura found EXE file in an entirely wrong location or that game/mod install settings were incorrectly set up by admins/developers.

I get the same problem where I accidentally directed Desura to the wrong destination for the .exe application. How do I change it to the correct one?

@CreepersBane you mean, as a developer or as a player? You just need to right click & remove a shortcut of the game from Play tab then try to recheck for the game shortcut again (on Settings page, game search wizard, or by installing a mod).

I, too, have been having the same problem. I suspect I've done the same thing as CreepersBane (as a player), but I can't even find the settings page or game search wizard. I already installed a mod and that's doing the same thing. I'm sure the solution must be staring me in the face but I just can't see it...

Wizards to find games/mods are under Tools menu.

Can't launch they hunger, keep getting the following error:

Hey! i got the same problem i belive, with a mod for BFME 2 ROTWK. It says:

"Faild to launch item RJ-ROTWK, File is not valid exe [C:\Program files (x86) Electronic arts\The Lord Of The Rings, The rise of the witch-king\lotrbfme2ep.exe. [61.0]"

I have veryfied the files without any luck. i have no idea what to do and hope you can help me!
