A 2D RPG about killing survivors... no wait, and zombies. 2D turn-based RPG inspired by the classic RPGs of the NES era. It's the game I have always wanted to play but didn't exist, so here we are. Development has started and most of the core systems are already programmed and in place. There are a lot of good RPG features already in the prototype, all of which will be making an appearance in the final version of the game. Here is a sneak peek under the hood: classic turn based battle system, character leveling system, equipment leveling system, factions, good and evil event options, item crafting, weapon crafting, armor crafting, recruit other survivors to be in your party, dismiss or kill unwanted party members, more to come… I am waiting for final art before posting gameplay videos and screenshots. Do you have cool story ideas or nasty little plot twists you have always wanted to see in the zombie apocalypse genre? I hope you do! Please post them in this forum and they could make it into the game! Here is a very small summary of the Zombie Survival RPG world to get your brain juice sloshing: This title takes place approximately 6-7 months after a pathogen of unknown origin has decimated the world population and brought humanity to it’s knees. The power grid has failed, potable water/food sources are dwindling, hygiene is an afterthought, and fuel is scarce and rapidly degrading. Most major cities are bombed out and still burning, those that aren’t are teaming with infected. Survivors have migrated away from these zones and into more sparsely populated areas in search of safety, but the infected are beginning to follow. |
