The unhinged Crackpots work diligently within the Alchemy Lab to produce the devilish potions for their Underlord to use.
For a small fee of gold you can produce potions to pick up and drop directly from your hand, freezing enemies in place, hastening your minions or perhaps spawning ice elementals!
