You know, I used to be opposed to your idea, your very existence.
I thought you were something worthy not even addressing, not even worth my time, below the stature of not only the order which I call myself a part of, but myself as well.
I thought the idea you tried to sell to me, the scheme which you tried to absorb me in, was an idealist view of war and conflict. That you were actually due something that you thought was entirely reasonable.
That you weren't entirely at fault for your own deeds. I know, you must have been alive during the War. You weren't born yesterday, and neither was I. I was barely a child when you almost tore the world asunder, made the world bind together but for one purpose, and gave birth to the army without borders that I am a soldier in.
I used to think you were crazy, I used to think that you were driven mad by the radiation that seeps out of every orifice of your Kingdom.
But perhaps we were the ones who were always mad.
Ever since you were locked away in your Kingdom, the world hasn't changed, perhaps, gotten a little worse. The everyday wars never stopped, the mercenaries never stopped building up with their companies, and the weapons of your design were never put out of service. In fact, they expanded, and they became the norm.
Of all we gush about how we never had another war of your destructive scale, we've never had another Kingdom grace this world, and we come dangerously close to actually having a disaster. That is why we are needed.
But then I realized, your goal, was the solution, to our problem.
I realized this when we cannot stop war, we can only stop the incidents of war (and sometimes not even that).
I thought I lost my faith, but I only recently realized all I can do, is put it somewhere else.
Included in this transmission are current maps, political situations, and common Experimental Operation System and ANGEL designs that have come about during your absence of the world, as well as International Coalition blockade schedules and formations. These formations have my stamp on them. I am the Legionnaire at Arms for the International Coalition starting this year, and I will make sure I will remain in this position for the foreseeable future.
For your sake.

Rather interesting transmission report. Seems that they got a hold of plans on what looks like a heavy air transport and the Condor ADS?
Indeed, the Barachiel Platform is a transport. What it actually 'transports', how long it can transport it, and what it actually is may come as a bit of a suprise.
Now if we can just have those pre-50's world war campaigns as DLC....
After seing this report, I'm wondering several things:
1. Does the game takes place during 2005 or sometimes after that or many years into the future ?
2. Will the whole war simply because of constantly fighting for power or is there some sort of conspiracy behind it ?
3. Will the player character be faceless, anonymous (except callsign), and silent so the players can immerse themselves in the game...or perhaps there will be character creation mode ? Will the player character also come from unknown background so it'll be a great mystery surrounding the player character ?
4. Will there be any major superpower country that will be to arbitrate the conflicting countries ?
5. Will the player character be able to save the skies in the Vector Thrust planet ?
I don't understand much about the world/story but from what I got from the forum talks:
1. will be divided into 3 different eras (starting from 80's to post 2000s)
3. Actually, the main character will be female and not faceless/silent
Maybe Sider/FaN will help you answer the rest.
I think it would be mysteriously nice if the main character (mentioned as female) is a gender-bending type character, like being viewed as a tomboyish female or a male with a posture (and hairstyles and also cute face) that will makes him mistaken as a female like the Macross Frontier hero Alto Saotome...or the F-14 pilot Hawk from the Japanese version of Aerofighters (Sonic Wings) Assault on N64. Since the heroes are from mercenary unit like in Area 88 anime/mangas, I think it might be OK if the main characters have the funky hairstyle (hey, some of the campaigns are set in the 80s).
1. Possibly
2. Maybe
3. Sometimes
4. Could be
5. Not telling
As mentioned before, the campaign will be divided into 3 different eras, right ? If so, does each campaign features different main character or will have the same main character ?
I would think it involves different characters. Even if the main character started off at the age of 18 in the first campaign, by the time the third campaign begins, they would be 58.
It would be interesting if it were the same character in all three eras, starting as a rookie and ending as a haggard old veteran.
*coughamuroraycough*
or perhaps each protagonist of the different eras is the descendant of the protagonist of preceding eras.
There are currently 3 campaigns in the planning process and one nearing completion. There will be 1.5 campaigns available from early access.
I keep wondering what will the characters look like. is it serious-looking style ? or kawaii (er..I mean cute style) ?
Also, next week will be the end of Steam summer sale, right ? I hope the game will show up on store page after the summer sale event is over.
Speaking of campaigns, will we be able to play the era in any order or do we have to play it in chronological order in order to unlock the following era?
It varies from campaign to campaign according to the plan.
