Error! Memory access violation Thread - Tompi Jones

Unfortunately I cannot run the game. When I first started it there was black screen with little tiny white "loading" in the center. After 3 minutes of loading I was presented a screen with video proportions, so I have choosen 16x10, then some more loading and I was able to succesfully create my account. And then pops up an error.
Now, each time I am trying to run a game, there is black screen with tiny "loading" for 3 or 4 minutes long, then it changes into Tompi character with big red "loading" and just a few seconds after pops up a little windows alert with title "Error!" and content text "Memory access violation ".
I use Windows XP SP3, Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2,33GHz, 2GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT with latest drivers.

Hi dcpak. If you can access to "Tompi Jones" install directory then delete the "OPCIONES.DAT" file. Then run the game and choose the language and another screen resolution (4:3 or 15:9). Tell me please if now you can run the game.

I tried to follow your advice. When I choose 4:3 it is the same effect: "Memory access violation" alert. When I choose 15:9 there is another alert: "Unable to set graphics mode".

Same here. And delete the file then choose another screen resolution didn't work.

Tompi Jones suports 1280x768(15:9), 1024x768 (4:3), 1440x900(16:10) and 1280x720 for netbooks. All resolutions work fine, tested in various pc and operating systems. Please, try to reinstall the game or try if it works correctly the last demo version.

Unfortunately I have reinstalled it a few times, also tried demo, same error every time. I can help with providing some logs or stacktrace if there is any written.

A bug detected with netbook resolution. Version 0.85 will correct it.

Also try to run "Arkhelom 3D" demo, please (download in Desura too). This is the same game engine. Maybe some incompatibility with this.

I've tried Arkhelom 3D, and this one is working ok in my case. Howewver there is no resolution change option, and it is 4/3 isn't it.
