Tactic Six is a top-down, realtime, tactical strategy game that is aimed at creating the most realistic tactical combat experience available. Permadeath, limited unit numbers, and enemy behaviors designed by former special forces troops... the player is in for a wild ride. It will have single player, Co-Op and Multiplayer modes.

A brief look at what we are going to accomplish with Tactic Six.

Tactic Six is not just a game.

We are building a system based upon game mechanics that will be easily adaptable to any time period, genre, or whim. While the first game (Tactic Six) will take place in a semi-contemperary historical time line, it would be just as easy to move the setting to the Wild West in the 1860's, the apocalypse, or a Tolkienian based fantasy world.

The core features of the game (and system) are based around a multi-tiered AI in both player-controlled and NPC characters that will allow the same unit to make drastically different decisions dependent on its environment, an open level design that does not push one solution or another to meet mission objectives but allows creative solutions derived directly from manipulating the AI, and the ability to use these things employ advanced tactical strategies with the player controlled units.

Player controlled units will be able to patrol areas, take cover, devise kill zones, take a multitude of combat postures, set-up ambushes, defend locations, and manipulate the environment to setup choke points and create tactical advantages engagements.

All of this comes together into a game that will be drastically different each time you play, with each strategy you employ.
