No people or animals, something happened to them. Abandoned city and a bunker, why? The main characters find themselves in this limbo of worlds. It avoided the effect to the most part being the sole person left on the earth. Their body was split up and now only a shadow still exists. But this split appears to only affect humans. As animals still remain and something else entirely creeps in the woods.
