Description

SAMA is a hand painted, digging and puzzle adventure game where you take the role of a mining ship and the little Alien blob crew hijacked by a pirate ship. Your Aliens have to dig, fight and puzzle their way through the subterranean worlds fulfilling the ransom demand.

History

We started developing the game in Nov 2016. With only 2 of us, we knew it would be a huge project and need some serious dedication.

Rob is from the UK and is the only developer and has been coding most of his life. Up until this point mainly in back-end computer systems for huge corporations around the world.

Kat is from Sweden and is the artist and designer. She has been interested in art her whole life, moving into digital artwork in 2005. She has worked for a few small indie developers in the past. All the artwork in SAMA is completely done by her. She also does the story line, level editing and helps with testing.

We picked Unity to develop the game and use Photoshop for the artwork.

We have a small office in our apartment that we work in, and although we travel and move around, we’ve been living in Spain for the past 6 years.
