The Reaper class ship belongs to the Empire of the Holy Lance - a great empire that ruled the galaxy in the distant past, until its emperor opened a rift to the parallel dimension and vanished there along with all of his legions. Aeons later, these unholy legions return from the dead to restore their once glorious empire.
