Gorgons are mid-ranged ships equipped with five long-range frontal ballistae that fire massive bolts that tear through enemy ships' armor. The ballistae fire in a cone that can shrink or expand, depending on how wide the enemies are spread. Usually, Gorgons are used for continuous suppression fire - the enemy fleet can't advance when there are ballista missiles flying all around.
