In Risk of Rain, time = difficulty. The longer you play the harder it gets, do you tear through the levels as fast as you can or do you spend time collecting some of the many ability granting artifacts? With randomly generated levels, giant bosses and just one life. How far will you go?

Why does the Demo version seem to have less stuff than the previous iterations? I know fore sure there are less items available, and It doesn't look like there are any new classes. It kinda seems like the demo version was a little pointless. I mean the music is amazing, I really like it, but it seems like that was the only worthwhile change. I'm actually playing the previous version as of right now, It just seems harder and has way more items.

What does everyone else think?

One more thing, I'm not trying to be whiny, I'm just really curious about this. OH and I do plan on supporting this through Kickstarter as soon as it is put up.

I agree with you, I downloaded the demo version and immediately WTF'd. The first thing I did was look at alllllll the brand new items they're putting In ( :D ). Then I saw that ALL OF THEM WERE LOCKED ( :l ). On top of THAT, the don't even have the kickstarter up yet ( >:( )! I'm going to fool around with the source code for a bit and see if I can't find some way to unlock the rest of features. That's how mad I am. I'm going to teach myself java so I can find a way to get access to the full game.

I have money, but no way of sending it to them 4 the kickstarter. If I could mail them am envelope with some money in it and ask for a closed beta key I would, but I have a sneaking suspicion it doesn't work like that.
