Project Vague is a sandbox MMO environment in which players pilot space ships and travel a universe full of procedurally generated planets. Players will be able to harvest resources from asteroids as well as deposits located on the surface of planets and moons, which can then be used to construct bases and space stations.

This is a video I put together during the early stages of this project to show how things work behind the scenes. I'll be posting an article within the next few days that explains what is happening in this clip in detail as well as the troubles I faced when making the move from a fantasy-themed MMO to one that takes place in a simulated universe.
