Prime psp is a Metroid fan-game for the play station portable. We plan to bring you The good points of Metroid. We do not rip anything or use anything from the Metroid games except the idea. The core concept of Metroid. We differ our style as well. All rights to Metroid belong to Nintendo, and Nintendo only.
main Menu. Still, New flashy icons on the way. Strays from quakes menu, and feels more Like metroid. Scroll from left to right, Not up and down.
nice :D
all it needs is for those to look like glossy orbs kinda like this:
Tinyurl.com
It would look even better.
That's already in the works, I drew up orbs that Mexi liked, once I finish the Tetra model, get the arm cannon and morphball finished I'll be working on updating the menu buttons with them. I'm surprised Mexi didn't show off my concept menu here so people can see how it will look finished.
I didn't show them because That might not be exactly how it will look. You just replaced the icons. The one in this image are actually in-game.
And the Armcannon is gonna take alooot of work. I mean, We have 4 beams now, and 3 animations. We are going to continually create new beams, so the Armcannon will need to be updated alot.
Besides some possibly jagged edges, the ones I showed you that applied to the palette we're using are almost 100% what they'll look like running. With some tricky gradation of intermediary tones between the edge color and the transparency color I think I can soften the edges though. If I remember correctly from when I tried initially it worked out pretty good. I think if I use a matte and design the buttons in a regular color mode, use the palette strictly, then reduce it to the color depth we use it should come out just fine.
Very good. Could you tell me where is the code that controls the menu on the quake? I searched the qc files, and engine, but I can not find it :S.
it is in engine, not in qc
thanks, :)
I really like this menu =D
Thanks! I like it too. And the new glossy icons Look so good In-game
good work. Where are the menu code stored now when you have eidted it :D
