so i have a few questions about the future game that i want to be sure about it and take ur time i want u to answer them all:

1)Do u have a premision from Nintendo for doing this game?

2)Can they shut this whole game down?

3)after the next stress test will there be a server that will be always open?

4a)will this game be an exact world as kanto and if so will there be a map for it?

4b)if there will be a map can u make something like instant flying from town to town or auto flying mechanics for a specific possition after u will be able to fly on your pokemon?

5)will there be caves that u would be able to enter with dig only?

6)how much people do u want to be on the server max?

Hello! Sure I can answer those questions.

1. No, Nintendo has not given us permission. However, in the past (in the cases that I'm aware of) Nintendo has only shut down Pokemon Fan Games that were making money through cash shops and/or donations. We don't plan to monetize the game in any way at all.

2. This one is complicated. Nintendo can send us a cease and desist letter and ask us to shut down the project. Pokemon World Online (a 2D Pokemon MMO) received a C&D letter, however they continued to run their servers in Sweden where they were protected under Sweden law.

3. Maybe. It's depends on how much progress we make. We don't want people to get the idea that what we offer in the stress test represents what we have planned for the game. We are still pre-alpha and we have a ton of game content to add before we are satisfied with doing an official release.

4. The map you saw in the stress test is loosely based on Kanto. The first town was Pallet Town with Professor Oak's lab. The first forest was Rt. 1, and then Viridian City has the gym that you could not enter yet. After that was Viridian Forest, and then Pewter City with Brock's gym, and up the road was Mt. Moon.

We do have a guy working on an almost exact copy of Kanto though. It is a less open and free map, and it's based exactly on Pokemon Blue's Kanto map. Yes, that is something that we would consider with flying. We plan to have some servers with the open world map, and some with the classic map.

5. We haven't really decided if we will feature dig in the game or not yet. We will make that decision in the near future.

6. We want to have the world full of people that you can interact with. We would like to be able to have up to 100 people in one server, however, we won't know if that is possible until we have more stress tests.

tnx for your answer and for the last question i asked u said that u are planning to do a server with up to a 100 players that u would be able to contact with so:

#1 u said before that u are going to do more than one server probably

#2 will there be up to 100 at each server?

#3 a chat full of people can be realy annoying will there be a way mabey that u will do a full server chat and an area chat like lets say 100 blocks around u players only will talk in that chat?

and i hope it doesnt annoy you that i ask all those questions if it is just say i dont bother, the point is that i have one more little question to ask:

will there be a day, night, snow, rain and diffrent pokemons will apear in each scenerio?

No worries man! I'm glad to answer questions.

1. Yes, because so many people who tried to join the stress test were from different places all around the world we have no choice but to set up multiple servers. I would love to have everyone in one server for the sake of filling the world with people, and building a strong community, but we have no choice but to set up multiple servers.

2. We may have to cap the servers as low as 20-30 depending on what we see in future stress tests, but the goal is to be able to at least allow 100 on one server. In the last stress test over half of the people who wanted to play got stuck loading onto the login server so we weren't able to get a ton of people on at one time. During this next stress test we will know a lot more.

3. Yes, I plan on setting up a global chat and a local chat. In global chat you talk to everyone, and local chat will allow you to talk to other players who are near you.

4. Yes, we do want to implement dynamic weather and environments. It will be cool seeing the flame of a Charizard walking down a path, or having the rare chance of snow and an Articuno showing up during the snow storm. We haven't fully discussed this yet, but we have talked about doing it at some point.
