A beast is roaming the ship. A creature known from long-forgotten fables and ancient myths. It could prowl around in any shadow and lurk behind any corner. We must plan our every move. We must survive the infection. We must get off the ship. We must escape Phantaruk.

Everything goes on and so do we. Our secret base on wheels had to be moved few days ago. Thanks to that, working conditions changed a lot. No more tight spaces and sitting on each other head! Welcome separate work rooms! Anyway, due to the fact that putting things from boxes on shelves is nearly at end, we want to share some information.

The main news is that Phantaruk is changing its course a little bit into survival horror game. There will be a few enemies in our game. The player won’t be able to defeat them fighting them face to face but… who knows what might come in handy – turrets, laser barriers or some good, old vacuum?


Moreover, we decided to implement a bit more advanced graphics, but still in style of pixel art. We did it because of two reasons:

  1. Immersion. It will be easier to put player in protagonist’s skin and feel the atmosphere of the abandoned spaceship.
  2. It will help us developing fear of main evil thing. How? We can’t tell yet. We advise having another pair of underwear while playing our game.

Anyway, we are good (and still alive). Draco just found cookies and doesn’t want to share, so that would be all for now.
