What's New:
This week, we made some final small modifications before the game's gold version was released. We improved sound effects and background music. Additionally, we improved the selection pool to prevent players from choosing from blocks of the same types.

What's the Motivation:
Our goal is to improve the overall player experience and make the game more engaging and immersive. By adding sound effects and background music, we can create a more enjoyable experience that fully immerses the player in the game. Additionally, the improved selection pool adds a strategic element that makes the game more challenging and engaging for players.

What's Next:
For future improvement, we are plaining to develop more levels representing different scenes, and include more challenging blocks. Moreover, we will get more feedback from players with our current version, and try to refine the game mechanics to make the playing experience more engaging based on.

What's New:
This week, we made several changes to our game. We added a cover and story scene to provide players with an initial impression and set the primary sense of the game, creating anticipation. Additionally, we created new transition scenes to provide players with a preview of the upcoming levels and enhance their overall experience. We also made the selection pool random to give players a unique experience every time they play. Additionally, we improved many player controls to make the game smoother, including changes to the attack button, adding an early stop to the game, adjusting camera movements, and making small improvements to all aspects of the game.

What's the Motivation:
The motivation is to improve the player's experience and make the game to be closer to bug-free. With the new cover and story scene, the players could have an intuitive impression of what the background story is, and what to expect in this game. Also, they can be immersed in the game more easily and make our game more appealing. Also, we want the players could find the game enchanting even after a few rounds of play, so we introduced the random selection pool to create more variety in the game so that players can try out the same level multiple times using different strategies. Similarly, we improved the player controls to make the jump and climb onto the wall to be more smooth and responsive.

What's Next:
For the next iteration, we plan to improve the block pool of our game, so that the blocks generated each time could be guaranteed to be more balanced. We also plan to add a block-rotation mechanism into the game to introduce more interesting decisions. Moreover, we will work on improving the marketing and the music of our game.

What's New:
This week, we made several changes to our game. We added a preview of each block to visualize its functionality. This will help the player understand the block's features better. Additionally, we improved the game balance to help the players who fall behind catch up. The flags will now fade out gradually in 5 seconds, which will reduce the difference in score. Moreover, we introduced a new attack mechanism into the game. The player who is attacked will be knocked back based on their opponent's win streak. This will help the disadvantaged party to gain more opportunities. We also introduced a round-world feature to give players a better approach to all parts of the map. Finally, we created a new intro scene to make the theme clearer. The cat and the dog will fight with each other to become this year's guardian by winning the vote for each terrain.

What's the Motivation:
The motivation for these changes is to balance the player's experience and make the game more appealing to every player. We added the preview feature to make the functionality of each block more visible to the player in the block selection phase. The balance was remade to give every player a chance to win and to reduce frustration for those who were falling behind. The attack mechanism and the round-world feature will allow players to design more flexible and smart strategies. Finally, the new intro scene will provide a more welcoming greeting to the players and make the game's theme more obvious.

What's Next:
The game is still not perfect until now. Many details are expected to optimize in the next stages, like the block placement border and so on. Also, we plan to add more features to the game for the next generation. Firstly, more block types are planned to design and construct to increase the variety and complexity of the game. Secondly, more animations will be created to make the game more appealing. We will also keep refining the game balance to ensure that every player has a fair chance of winning, even though they may vary in gaming skills. Eventually, we will keep gathering player feedback to further improve the game and make it more enjoyable.
