A few months ago Konka Studios was lucky to recruit industry veteran John Say into the Staff. John is currently the founder and CEO of Say Design, and we were glad to have his experience help shape Ocean at War.
John has been interested in video games since his youth, and started coding his own games in 1979. In 1990 John founded his Company, and has been working in the industry for 24 years now. John and his company have created games and media for some of the biggest companies within the gaming industry and out, including Sony, Mattel, Electronic Arts, Zynga, Disney and Cartoon Network.
John has also received numerous awards and honors, including the 2006 Glu Mobile Editor’s choice award for Poker Pop. John was also a finalist on Flash Forward Game for MTV Obsessed.
John has spoken at many venues within the industry, including a presentation on Game Design and inspiration at the 2012 Casual Connect Games conference in Singapore.
