We are happy to announce that the mod has just emerged from a very frustrating period for its team and its fans. The bottom line is that the project is now under new leadership and has been streamlined, with some key alterations made to its gameplay design and a polished closed beta release of the core gameplay expected as soon as two months' time for a select number of our fans and an even-more-polished public release to follow soonafter.
The past few months have been quite difficult for ND, but we've finally gotten back on our feet. Even though we feel this is already way overdue, we would like to inform everyone on the current state of the project.

Work on the mod is back up to full speed. We're very lucky to have three programmers working on the code and an almost-full complement of artists working on the maps and models (see website for recruitment info). Here are some of their latest offerings:

Nuclear Yawn- By DaveL
I'm not sure how that would work... XD Maybe it doesn't fire bullets?
oh great to see you back in action.. not releasing this high-quality mod would be a crime!
I was going to say welcome back, good to see your still here. but...
then you ask for help!
thats just plain cruel!
cool, but on that gun, where do you put the clip?
lol, I was just about to ask that same question. It's really awesome and all, but...yeah.
the big circle is the clip i think :)
^ Glad someone read the newspost.
Yes, the clip is side-loading and fits into the drum at the back of the gun.
As for the people who were removed, they weren't contributing any work towards the mod and were part of the reason progress had slowed to a crawl. Some had completely stopped visiting the dev forums, so there wasn't really any other option. Thankfully, most of our core members are still with us, so it's not we're running with a skeleton crew.
