Dear indie gamer, you are just discovering Narcosis, but actually the project didn't started yesterday.

Narcosis started last year as a student project in the ENJMIN, a french video game school. We worked on it a couple of months, then, we split and went to different places for internships and jobs.

A couple of us wanted to continue the adventure but motivation was hard to find. We were all spread across France, with various occupations, and even if you really like your project, it can be really hard to make it real with such circumstances. The desire to continue was present, but to truely dive in, we needed something more, we needed a sort of trigger.

In january of this year, the 2013 IGF student showcase was announced. And without really exepcting it, we had an Honorable mention. And this kind of stuff, even if there is a lot of luck in it, is just great and motivating.

So, for the young and impetuous game makers we are, this Honorable mention, from a jury we may never meet but we respect a lot, was the trigger we were (un)expecting.
