Last week end in Poitiers, France, took place 2013 Gamers Assembly.
Gamers Assembly is the most important competitive event in France. More than 800 gamers compete on games such as League of Legends, Team Fortress 2 or StarCraft 2.Alongside the tournaments, Gamers Assembly offers conferences, contests, previews etc.
This year, the staff gave us the opportunity to showcase Narcosis, an opportunity we didn't miss, even if the project is far from being ready! A lot of people showed interest in our project and many interesting talks occured around our "booth" (a table, a seat, and two laptops actually).
Last but not least, we ran a contest during the whole event: "Make scream the viperfish that lies in you", with prizes (games mostly) for the best 3 performers.Participants had to record themselves making the sound of a viperfish (whatever this sound actually is) and then send it to us.I don't want the sound designers of Dead Space to be jealous, but here goes the three winners (special mention to Maxime, our number 3, for his "freshness" ahah).
