Mustache Ride for Windows 8 is underway news

Now that Mustache Ride has been released on Kongregate, the Windows 8 version is moving forward in full-force. The game is being re-optimized to include better graphics and sound than the web version while keeping the filesize low.

Here is a sneak peak of the game on a Windows 8 Start Screen. No, the game is not going to have XBox Live features; I just wanted it to appear next to my other games for now.

Here is the game running on a Surfact RT, one of the weakest of Windows 8 platforms. If the Surface RT can run the game smoothly, it should work just about anywhere. Testing is also being done on other tablets and PCs running the Windows 8 operating system.

Mustache Ride on Windows 8 is planned to be free, with an optional $0.99 price. The "trial" version of the game will be the full version, so buying the paid version is an option only for those who want to support the game. Feel free to download only the trial and play the full game that way! If the game generates enough response, I will be able to port to other mobile systems like iOS and Android. As of now, I don't have the financial support to do so. So please continue to support Mustache Ride on Kongregate, and look forward to the Windows 8 version, too!
