A four-player game where two teams make their miner with non-functional legs speed through an abandoned mine in search of gold, armed with nothing but grappling hooks and pickaxes.
IMPROVEMENTS
We were preparing our game for the showcase, so a lot of our attention was directed towards making the game look, sound, and feel as good as possible. Our musician got us a new theme that plays during the levels, and we created two new tilesets. We also made some of the levels easier, reducing the number of spikes and placing more checkpoints. While we only have 3 levels now, we feel that they each have a decent difficulty progression from easy to hard within themselves and also progress in a more sensible manner difficulty-wise.
It's been a long semester, but our game is ready to present!
The penultimate build of the game, before the Games Showcase at the University of Michigan.
The feature-complete build of Miner Mayhem, minus additional levels and fine-tuning.
