Hello to all again mercenaries. In this new Dev Log we are going to talk about the following:

  • Explanation : Name Change.
  • Pre-Alpha structure.

Once once this was said, let's begin.

Explanation : Name Change

A couple of users, as much of IndieDB as of the Community of Steam, have made us come to our knowledge than the name of Mercenaries this registered like trademark for ELECTRONIC ARTS INC and Lucasfilm EC Ltd. We Should Say in our defense, if it is that there is offense committed by us, than the record sold off by EA INC this same year in Europe has expired, we do not know as it works in USA or Canada, that it is where is once the trademark was registered, but if it is equal to Europe and they have not renewed her we would not have problems in merchandizing with the name, But to avoid judicial messes we have decided to change the name.

The project becomes known by the name of Mercennarios, mercenaries in Latin. If there is any doubt with this theme make a comment and they will be clarified.

Pre-Alpha Structure.

The Pre-Alpha, in our case, is going to be the part where we are going to develop the character's motions, we have not enough some animations to make, transitions of one to another animation, but we will little by little keep on having sex to you.

Detailed explanation: Game Structure.

We got to an important post office box future mercenaries. I am going to explain, the most summarized possible how the game is going to be structured.

Main city: When creating an account and to validate it you will be able to appear in this city. In this city you will find blacksmith'ses, taverns, stores of all sorts (once the stores of the players were included), a training camp, a zone to accomplish tournaments of all sorts, positions of recruitment as much to go to war to come in to be a part of a free company constituted by players. This city will be the initial point for the plan to entertain a persistent world that will keep on becoming expanded according to love players, they will elect the following to represent at play, but already will talk about it later on.

Our immediate plan is finishing the Pre-Alpha, this city already will be able to visit itself in the Alpha, one part, they already meet working in her. Everything said will not be enabled up, during the whole Alpha he will keep on getting up to date.

The players will be able to preside over some buildings above. More in short taverns and blacksmith'ses, gaining magnus benefits with sales and you bet on the tavern and repair works and forging in the blacksmith'ses. These buildings will go to public auction when the game is done and everybody will be able to choose to them paying money in game. These buildings will be limited, and the rent will last for two months, two days before finishing the period will go to public auction.

Taverns: The customers will be able to play gambling, drinking and eating, betting or fighting in combats organized to fists. August Program.

In this month of August we go to work very hard to go into the version Alpha before he finalizes the month.
