A 2D action game with a high skill ceiling, permadeath, leveling, and items.

Fei is a somewhat slow, high damage, high health, character that will excel in surviving and combat, but suffer in mobility and speed.
Masked Vale features character progression with permadeath, so dying ends your run, but you keep any character unlocks.
Levels will feature random challenges, enemy spawns, and generally be chaotic.
The idea is the game will be fast paced and heavily randomized like a roguelike.
