Every player has a hard start in a new game. That’s why we implemented a few aids. First of all new players appear in a starting village appropriate to their profession. It prevents making locations too crowded to play. In starting villages, quest tracking is on by default. In addition, players receive help in form of a tutorial. Short messages appear on the game screen according to player’s actions explaining rules of the game and guides player through the game’s world. Tutorials teach killing monsters, obtaining items, buying things, gaining experience etc. Tutorials also appear later in the game, when player discovers new functionalities and more advanced fight options. The last message is shown when player gains 25 level of experience and can learn fight skills. Every message can be skipped, player may see additional description or disable whole tutorial if he knows the game good enough.
