Description

Notice boards are in every town, also close to taverns on crossroads. In real world a notice board it’s a place that gather people and it’s changing all the time. People pin new announcements, tear off the old ones etc. In virtual world, it’s very hard to mimic these activities. Important announcement for players are on the main page of Margonem MMORPG and it isn’t really good to place them deep into the game. That’s why we introduce other option. Every player can check on the notice board quests that are waiting for him. There is information about required level, place and NPC that offer the task. Some quests are connected into chains, and skipping one may result in disabling a few others. We decided that quest are presented in (-10, 5) interval according to player’s experience level and profession. So player can check if he didn’t “miss” any quests and how much he must play to gain enough experience to make another. It has a motivational influence. It’s more like the carrot than the stick. Notice boards show now that there are many quests in the world, because Players that search contracts by themselves just walking around often has a feeling that the world lacks quests for them.
