Land of Seylia is a tactical role-playing game with elements of empire building and resource management. You control the kingdom of Seylia as it expands from a single city, to a mighty empire spread across the procedurally-generated land. Along the way, you will recruit units, watch them hone their skills in combat, build new cities, capture enemy territory in combat, and master the art of item crafting. The battles in Land of Seylia are focused on small skirmishes, with approximately 5 units per side. The game is currently being prototyped in Javascript and HTML5, which may or may not change as development progresses.
Prealpha 7 marks a large expansion to the number of items available in Land of Seylia. So far, all of these can be had via the marketplace, although future versions will add more ways to acquire rare and powerful equipment for your characters. In the case of Graham here, he's enjoying the addition of a copper spear and iron helmet to the game! Finally, he can fight his foes from a safe distance, while protecting his sensitive head!
