Game Updates

Lots of great updates to the game. For starters, the bosses are bigger and badder, and they now have shooting patterns. This adds a lot of excitement, and frustration, to players trying to finish levels with a perfect three stars.


Tilt control has been added for mobile devices including Windows tablets running RT.

A new background tile has been added that makes the levels look much more complete. This really gives the game a better sense of depth, and provides some cool effects when Blues trail is running over it.


The new door opening sequence looks really cool, I tried to design it so that it looked like bars exploding towards the screen when the player touches the door triggers.


The fire blocks (aka Pain Blocks) now have a new look as well.


Blues eyes move around and he gets squishy when he hits walls hard, and his warp effect looks much cooler than ever before. You can actually feel Blue stretching from one warp gate to another.


Counters for Gems and Little Blues were added to assist the Player in knowing what is left to get that perfect Three Star score.


The sleeping enemies now actually look like they are sleeping, snoring zees and everything. If you touch the enemy too many times it will awaken and start chasing after you making your job much harder. When Blue takes any type of damage he receives a few seconds of relief by getting a shield power up. Shields are also available on some of the levels where it is critical to use them to finish the level without damage.


The game now features all Sixty levels for its first release. There are Fifty-Five normal levels and Five Boss levels. As people begin testing the latest Beta version I will be working on getting the game ready for its various app stores.

Level Designer

The Designer has had a lot of new things added to it

  • Background Tiles
  • Layers no longer switch when you select an object from a different layer
  • Line, Box and Box Fill no longer need to start on empty area
  • Undo system added
  • New Editor Font
