Hi guys,
Just wanting to give you all a small update of things to come.
The team are hard at work on preparing a tech demo for you all :) the level to showcase this tech demo should be done in about a week give or take then we will go into post production stage doing a final art pass on the level, setting up the camera path for the video & preparing the musical score for the teaser/tech video trailer
We also plan to start posting some concept art, a couple in-game screenshots & setup an official developer Q&A discussion panel hopefully sometime next week.
If there are any graphics artists out there that specialize in logos & HUD design feel free to contact us at jobs@binarysword.com

A castle game with guns? Plus, target age group 15 to 35. 15? Really? Also you want to literally do this for every platform (ok I admit except toasters and wrist-clocks). And if you are indeed doing for iOs why leave Android out?
Hi juliobds, thanks for your comment.
I will try to answer to your questions step by step:
Q: "Will there be guns in Knoll?"
A: There will be no "guns" in Knoll (intended as gunpowder weapons), other than medieval weapons like swords and bows/crossbows.
Q: "Target age group is 15 to 35. 15? Really?"
A: No mistakes, 15 to 35. Really.
Q: "Do you plan to publish Knoll on every platform?"
A: We are going to focus on the PC platform, with DirectX 11 support and use of the latest technologies for high-end graphics.
CryENGINE 3 allows to compile the game also on PS3 and Xbox 360, preserving a gorgeous quality.
Q: "If you are indeed planning to publish Knoll on iOS, why are you leaving Android market out?"
A: Regarding iOS, Crytek has made a new version of their engine that runs on iPhone and iPad (Project "Fibble").
We don't know yet if they are going to include iOS support on future CryENGINE SDK releases.
For that reason, Android support also depends on future CryENGINE updates. For now, we can guarantee you that Knoll will be available on PC-Windows platform. Support for the other platforms (iOS, Xbox 360 and PS3) will come later on.
iOS is listed on the field "Main platform" because we're going to develope a dedicated mobile game version of Knoll, even if CryENGINE wont allow that and we'll have to use another engine just for this specific platform. Then, and only then, we will see what to do with Android and Windows Phone support. In other words, development of Knoll on smartphones and tablets will start with iOS.

artwork is nice.
I love a good castle defense game, especially one that isn't an overhead turret defense type. Can't wait to see if this turns in to something great!
Love the idea of a castle defense game in CE3 cant wate to see more.
