Explore the lost world of KAIRO. An strange bleak world filled with vast strange monuments. As you explore the depths within you must solve puzzles to bring ancient machinery back to life and give KAIRO a purpose once again. KAIRO is a first person atmospheric exploration and puzzle solving game.
The trailer on here was getting very out of date so here's a trailer I produced for the IGF 2012 entry of the game.
Typo in the title, says "kario".
Also, I'm looking forward to this game's release, its a style I haven't seen...barely ever. The trailers give you the feel that you're in a place that defies logic, it gives you a sense of freedom, because the constraints of the world are being built around you as you experience them. Similar to an infant.
That was the feel I got anyway.
Hi,
Talking about the game sounds : will the player be surrounded by the music that illustrates the video ? I found it very impressive and a very goood choice for such an atmosphere rendering. Watching the video reminded me of "2001 a space odyssey" last 15 mn, with Giorgy Ligeti soundtrack "Lux Aeterna". But also reminds me of Toru Takemistu music, which surely would fit nicely to such atmoshperic promenade.
