An old saying from the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy is "Der Täufi schloft ned!", which could be translated into "The devil never sleeps". It is something like the ancient prequel to Murphys law and describes the fact, that if there is something that could go wrong, it´s likely that it will go wrong. And that you should never feel safe.
We should have thought about that when releasing the Trash Game of the Year Edition here on Desura. Although many of our customers played on and on without having problems (and are still playing). several other valued gamers ran into problems. Some combinations of 64bit systems and system rights settings could lead to the game not starting. And some very poor ones couldnt finish the puzzle in level 1 where you have to find a piece of wood to trigger the basement switch.
Both issues have been adressed in the latest patch / Hotfix, which was integrated into the Desura version some hours ago.
