Hi!

We are "Pure Evil Studio", for this moment we are in the process of our very first game creating which is named "Holy shift!". "Holy shift" is a replayable action with RPG and Tower Defense elements where both: a skill and a brain are necessary to win. Operate the powerful magician and build deadly traps to protect a sanctuary from hordes of monsters.

The last three months we have been working on monthly iterations and before just chaotically.
That was done for the last three monthly iterations:

  • The visual style was selected
  • Searching of a way by monsters (waypoints and navmesh)
  • 6 basic skills added
  • 6 basic monsters added
  • 3 basic traps added
  • Some AI for different types of monsters
  • System of wave's generation for monsters
  • Basic user's interface (choice of skills and traps)
  • Some play-tests are carried out
  • The system of combo spells is created

Plans

December

To add a teaching vertion and to upgrade gameplay constants
To develop mechanics for interaction with the environment

January

  • UI polishing and bugs correction
  • Realization of mechanics of interaction with the environment
  • To carry out play-tests of mechanics of interaction with the environment, teaching tools and UI
  • To start supporting Windows

February

  • To decide on content (how many levels and what kind they will be, how many monsters, etc.)
  • To decide on how promo-materials will look
  • Realization of mechanics of interaction with the environment

March

  • Main menu, progress preservation
  • Creation of a new environment for the level
  • Addition of new monsters
  • Addition of new traps
  • Addition of new levels
  • Addition of new skills and combo
  • Preparation of the promo materials

April

  • Creation of a new environment for the level
  • Addition of new monsters
