Hello Followers, Stalkers and Passerbys!

Progress has been great and steady on Hero-Arena as we are finishing off a lot of stuff behind the scenes such as the menus and character system I'd figure I'd throw you guys a couple of little renders and some information about how I work to wet your appetites a little.

When I'm about to get into a model, I usually try and get a good idea of what I'm about to make a jot down a sketch, afterwards I finalize it by doing a quick ink and color job which I've saved here:

Afterwards I take that concept and model it out as LOW POLY as I can for Hero-Arena. Since it's a browser based game I try and keep every model as low as possible while still maintaining a bit of it's cartoon exaggerated features. Then add a texture and BAM :

Also, worked on the base texture for the Dragon Blade. Going to add some fancy symbols and probably redo the texture entirely but it's the first Two-Hand sword render. Modelled by one of our newest team members and friend of mine Gryph, crap texture to be replaced by me. So yay! : D.

Well I figured the further we get into development there'd be no need to post but if you're interested the dummy has a 256 texture map like everything else and the sword is 198 tris !
