Here are two new weapon renders we have for you guys. I figured I would let you see something since we haven't really shown that much yet.
ah .. a great weapon in a great mod with great looks .. can it become any better ;)?
It actually can :). We will have customizable weapons. You will have the ability to purchase and add on different attachments for your weapons. I am guaranteeing you that the weapons attachments system will be included in our first demo.
Looks good, but also pretty hi-poly.. i know they asked you in the last, but waht is the poly count?
Around 3,000.
Too bad you're full of crap... Lying may work on non-modelers. I know this is a sub-division surface model. If it really was around 3,000 then it would look no where near this way.
You can prove this by showing a wire-frame render.
its called baking down to a lowpoly model first the modeler creates a high poly model then optimaze it down to about 4-6 k polys in this case 3 k and then uvwrapp it then hit the nice and button bake down to texture and then you can get a veary good quality of bump map on your object ...
I have deleted your other comment because of you posting a link to your mod for NO reason. Please don't post that here again. And Mackan4762 got it right. And no I am not going to post a wireframe because I have nothing to prove to you but you telling me I am full of crap is complete non sense.
haha, drewskad00d g0t Pwned
nice model :)
Thank you
I'm in agreement with Drew here - that looks like a sub-d model to me, not a low poly.
Not that it ain't good, but that sure as heck ain't 3K polys. Thats got to be a high poly, due to the smoothing modifier alone.
Hey, Squiggers I would provide you with a wireframe or possibly even the file itself, but our weapons modeler went missing lol. (The reason why we haven't released any new models). We have been trying to get in touch with him for about 2 months now and unfortunately he has all the files with him.
Nah, its not a problem in regards to the wireframe at all, ya don't have to supply it for me to look at, i'll take your word for it. Hmm, how odd. Have you tried contacting him via FPSB, as I know he has an account there?
Yes, he won't respond to me.. Hoping you can get a hold of him. That would be great.
