This has been a busy month from adding new mechanics, to figuring out the rigging of new characters, to finishing environments. There have been a lot of changes to the starter ship that we’ve been modelling as well. Not just the inside but the outside model that will be flyable. We’ve also been adding sounds and some VFX.

Some other fun things we’ve added are the ragdoll mechanics that ragdoll the other player when he’s killed. This also works when a nearby window is shot out. The player is suddenly ripped out into space. We don’t have a video of this yet as we’re still working out some of the bugs but here is one of the characters just relaxing with his new physics model.
We’ve also added more assets to the ship and given it a little makeover to make it feel livable. The glass is breakable and the ship really feels like a full ship when walking around inside of it now. There are still more details to come but here are some update shots.
We’re also about halfway done modelling the exterior flyable version of the starter ship. It’s based off of this painting.
So look out for an update on that in the coming weeks.
As far as programming goes we're currently working on getting more gameplay features added and having the respawn/over all gameplay mechanics play out how we want them to. Once that is up then we should be posting a lot of gameplay footage.
