Here's our new rocket and explosion FX...probably about 75% done I reckon. Liking the smoke trail currently. This needs some more glowy stuff on the rocket, a big ridiculous muzzle flash, more of a shockwave effect, more particles, then variation and it'll be done! Not much then...sigh!

well you know now that you look at the smoke it reminds thouse old railgun trails from quake and other games.
there isn't really much any thing special only the fact the explosion is big.

I like the lines that come after the rocket. All those sparks look a bit silly though, don't they?
Yeah the sparks are a bit too "fireworky" - we need to figure out what to do about that actually, may need to change the particle shape...maybe they're moving out too far as well...hum.
