Here's some gameplay for the current build - we'll be working on a new proper video at some point soon, but I thought I'd quickly show you guys where we're at with stuff right now.
I was laughing when i saw the Red enemy pass right infront of the Green Rocket unit and not even shoot at him xD
still i see some great improvements from the last gameplay videos

The reason that happened is that both units were set to ignore enemies - this is a way of getting them to move around the map faster without trying to aim and engage hostiles.
As this was a "dark" match, neither side knew where the others' troops would be, hence the funny "rounding the corner" moment!

damn! this game is looking so awesome, and the soundtrack is TIGHT. i've been bumping it for the past few days. i'm a huge x-com fan from back in the day, and it's about damn time we're seeing the next iteration of tactical combat! rts is large-scale, micro-heavy, and kinda not my thing. at the same time, i don't feel games in the ff: tactics vein have really pushed the envelope. now THIS is where things need to go. i can't wait to scoop this when you guys are done. keep up the good work!
btw, i finally beat x-com: terror from the deep a few weeks back. i'm hoping frozen synapse has online play, cause i'm going to need a place to show off my champion's belt :)

I'm REALLY glad you appreciate the tactical direction we've gone with this - we've tried to take the most exciting bits of those games and condense them down into a more intense experience.
Frozen Synapse will launch with multiplayer in the pre-order beta that we're releasing very soon, so you'll be able to jump into that straight away.
Single player will come later - we have plans for a full campaign mode that we want to work on for most of the rest of this year.
