After eight months of development, FOnline: 2238 hit the websites, among them moddb.com. It is based on the FOnline engine and technically very similar to it, the testers from the last open beta test should know this already. However, there are numerous differences comparing to what we could play the last December: new features, new timeline and better support for the English version.
The new quests, dialogs and places (e.g. Ares Missile Silo) are awaiting you to test it. Remember, this is still a beta version of the game and a lot of content has to be implemented in the weeks and months to come. The beta stage will not end until the game is finished, which means that you will be able to play it effectively all the time and help us improve it.
Introducing the new content and game mechanics affected the game balance and server load significantly. We are working on both of those, thank you for your understanding.
