Fate of the Galaxy (FotG) is a single and multi-player total conversion using the FS2 Open Engine set in the Star Wars universe. The game is in development and will be released as a standalone (the game FreeSpace 2 is not required). Fate of the Galaxy also maintains an active website, forum and Discord Channel.

This was our first test video displaying snub fighter combat on a significantly large scale. This was done in single player.

Video is a bit dark though, hard to see whats going on. Any chance of posting next video with a planet in the background?

Good point, but it's just a test to see how dogfights work. No doubt later versions would feature good-looking backgrounds. :-)

Looks great... interested to see what sort of secondary weapons/ missiles there are (i.e proton torpedos).
Forgot that we will no longer get the advance target indicator, which should make things harder.
