Escape: Sierra Leone is an exploration-based first person survival/exploration game set during the Sierra Leone civil war. It is truly open and allows the player limitless freedom. No invisible walls, no set quests, and a dynamic story.
A quick video showing a basic, yet vital gameplay mechanic: drinking water from bottles and lakes (or other fresh water sources). Also, I demonstrate the ability to refill an empty bottle while drinking from a lake. Note that there are no sound effects for drinking yet, so it's a little unexciting. Also, you can watch the developer stat readouts on the top left of the screen to see updates on when the player loses food/sleep/water stats, and what his current food/water stats are sitting at.
now you just need to fix it to one of the hands, but looks good
Yeah, baby steps :P
you need an animator desperately, but when it comes to gameplay you're in the clear
Yeah, it's hard to find any animators skilled with CryEngine 3, my ads for paid work have gone mostly unnoticed.
and anytime you need something desperately you find a cornucopia of nothingness...
or at least people who get annoying by the second... and then you have to give em the boot because they think they are gods gift to gaming.
lmao, things are never simple even when looking for people to work on stuff.
