Escape: Sierra Leone is an exploration-based first person survival/exploration game set during the Sierra Leone civil war. It is truly open and allows the player limitless freedom. No invisible walls, no set quests, and a dynamic story.
A quick low quality video taken in the pre-alpha of me planting mines and have some fun with them. Most of this is WIP, so as usual, don't expect the final product to look quite like this.

On a side note, is this item handling animation is final or do you intend to make a custom one?
Also, will there be animations when using things or fading is also final?
The player model is a placeholder, probably won't be sunglasses in the alpha or later :P
The grabbing/hold anims will be reworked for alpha, hopefully. Animations for using objects is a feature I want, but may be after beta or even the first release, as it's a bit more tricky.
