Description

While I found the movie itself to be a mishmash of many scenes from multiple GITS movies with a narrative that deviated from the original too far, one thing I found absolutely amazing was the creative design work and concept art.

Two notable areas were that of automotive and weapon design. In this case, the automotive side the vehicles created successfully combine this subtle references to 80's designs as well as futurism.

The vehicles in the original seemed to bare no form of subtle futurism and instead looked like vehicles from the 90's, regardless of the fact that it would have been a full 60 years between that era and the era of the games setting.

Using these as inspiration for creating vehicles for DXM, the same should be done with the exception of looking at what design works had been done for HR and MD and then combine the elements from these GITS Inspirations to create something new, but also plausible for relatability.
