So are the triple tail engines, cargo pods, and corvette docks all modular attachments? or is it like the other ship you previewed where you build the cruiser from a base and add modules like the spine and frontal hull segments which then have attachment points for smaller more specialized modules?
Furthermore, are all the modules Symmetrical or could we have one side of the ship have cargo while the other side has cannons/lasers?
I'm not sure if I understand the first part of your comment. Both is true, not just one or the other. Engines, tails, cargo pods, corvette docks are all modules that can be attached. And it's pretty much exactly like in the prototyping images/vids.
You can absolutely add different things to opposing sides. No need for symmetry. I'll also have some more images today or tomorrow about dual spines, where you can push the asymmetry even further.
Hope that answered your questions. Let me know if there's more. Thanks!
Pretty epic ship design I love those extra details that have been added to make it look like a true medium to large class ship, it kind of reminds me of some of the ships from 'Homeworld2' or 'Nexus:the Jupiter Incident' and as for the modular design I don't think it looks to modular (where you can spot the joints between modules segments) I think it blends in nicely to make the overall appearance look an impressive solid ship. Keep up the brilliant work team :)
big diffrence in size cool job
Yeah, the corvettes are 30m in length at most, while this cruiser configuration is almost 900m :)
That's awesome!
Thanks man!

Thank you! :) I take extra care to make the parts transition well. It's challenging but pays off IMO.
