nice work
There's a lot going on behind the scenes of the game that is not shown on here. Mostly I just post little snippets. I can't wait for everyone to check out the game. Soon I will reveal more about it. Thank you for the support it means the world to me.
Dude, its me, Oersted. I've been trying to contact you for a while, since I was in your Discord, before it got screwed over. We talked for a while afterwards but then I couldn't hit you up after some time. What happened?
Hey hope all is well. I'm not sure! How can i get in touch with you now? Thanks!

Can't wait for the release!
It's way too early to ask this, I suppose, but are there plans to have varied and unique zombies like in George's films?
Thank you sir i hope all is well!
There will be special variations of zombies based on locations and randomized events. There are also tons of mutations that are sort of like "special infected" from Left 4 Dead to switch things up (not quite Romero but i think it will be a welcome addition)
The enemy spawn system is slightly rougelike too as well as items. Each time you play a map, it is a different experience. Video on that soon!
Awseome! In my personal opinion, adding specials is fine and a good addition for variety, which helps spicing up the gameplay, though, hardcore Romero fans would sure prefer to have walking stiffs alone. Well, that is fixable by adding special settings or modes, similar to Project Zomboid's sandbox, so both parties can be pleased. Speaking of that, are running/faster zombies still a thing? I remember seeing a video with them, but it seems to have been removed. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with the project! It seems really good and promising so far, especially for something being made by a small team! If you're working on it alone, then it's hella impressive!
P.S. Hope to see Hare Krishna and maybe other special "reference" zombies. LOL.
Thank you!
I hear you loud and clear. That is a great idea and that's what we will do then!
settings to remove the specials based on infections that you wouldn't see in a Romero film.
With that option disabled you will still run into the specials that you WOULD see in Romero film.
Running zombies are still a thing. as of now only are spawned in large hordes and are less common. Those will be optional too.
Expect tons of easter eggs related to the classic horror films of our day.
Thank you so much for the interest in the project, can't wait for you guys to play it.
Can't wait to check it out either!
I was quite curious, why the setting chosen for the game was 1980s and not 1970s (the setting of Crazies and DotD)? Is it because of the aesthetics and other artistic reasons, also Day of the Dead? I have no problems with eighties, just like to dig into details!
Hey! Hope all is well! We would love to do a 70s style game in the future. Possibly a slasher horror or phycological horror game with short tales series similar to creepshow.
For DOTRD There where a few reasons the 1980s where chosen. It was because it's our favorite time period for film and technology. Aesthetics wise it is charming to us and nostalgic and familiar as we are old heads. It also allowed us to pay homage to some of our favorite horror and action flicks period we are familiar with through easter eggs in game.
Hard at work on the game daily still and can't wait to show players our next big push!
Thanks again for the support!! Take it easy!!
****, I am sorry for replying so late.
Yeah, that was my guess!
My pleasure! Good luck with the game! Hope you guys are all doing well yourselves!
