Description
Darkanoid is not a place for pampered souls looking for an easy adventure and an exceptionally pleasant picture. Darkanoid is waiting for real heroes who still remember what the hardcore of old games is.
History
The idea to assemble a team arose in 2019, and the good old arcade was chosen as a trial genre. We were in a hurry to get into early access and when the prototype was finally ready we released it to Steam. We are currently working on graphics and improving the current mechanics. But we are also preparing more global improvements and secrets to the project.
Features
- two modes, classic arkanoid with levels and bosses, sustained in the best traditions of the retro genre and survival mode, in which you have to stay among the moving flow of blocks;
- horizontal and portrait mode, classic arkanoid has always been oriented towards portrait display mode, but we decided to break this pattern;
- 40 levels in classic mode;
- adaptive wave system in survival mode;
- 3 types of difficulty in classic mode - Noob, Padawan and Master;
- 11 bonuses that you don't need to catch;
- modifiers: teleports and blocks flying (in the face), but it's not that easy, you have to dodge them;
- EXTRA level available in classic mode;
- platform shield, activated in one click;
- 13 unique skins that have a bonus;
- achievements for steam;
- joystick control;
- unique resource - Darkies - travel and get resources which are hidden in the hard rocks of blocks;
- simple mouse control, all hotkeys in one hand
