Question, how do I download the older Engine, I freaking loved the older one so answering would really help :)
You can download it as DLC right here from Desura :) It's a small patch that will bring back the old engine to your Desura copy of the game :)
Just download the normal Cube 2 Sauerbraten (at the moment its the collector edition release version)
Fun game, but would you mind shortening the name? I'm not able to uninstall it because of desura's stupid window size. :C
I like that you have smart water reflections that not only look better than sauerbraten, but use less GPU as well. The only problem with that is when you go up to an object not even close to the water (like leaves on trees on map hallo) it reflects things wrong. Could you include an option in the setting to choose expensive or cheap reflection. Also why is reflection still red, now it doesn't impact performance at all.
Also I suggest combine all the metalheart and just shoot games into one game so all the games can use the sauerbraten.org server (I noticed all your servers are down)
I actually wouldn't benefit right now with the expensive reflections because I only have my notebook, but I'm sure others with faster computers would appreciate it.
i have a windows 8 64 bit, amd e1-1200 APU with radeon hd graphics, 4 gig of ram, and its a laptop. will the game be very choppy when i play?
Try it and find out for yourself. Also, check with GPU-Z that nothing else is using the GPU (shouldn't be a problem on Win8)
