I'm very sorry that you've some trouble with the game, because of a bug .... so to fix it just rename the metalheart file from metalheart_unix-1.3 to metalheart_unix
(in your desura folder user/desura/common/cube-metalheart/) :)
That's it :)
I promise I'll upload a patch for it to fix it .... but currently I've no time to do this :(

I contacted a Desura site administrator who will fix the bug on linux.
After that you can only run the latest version of Cube MetalHeart (V1.3) on linux !
