Our vision is to make an all new "point-and-click" adventure game with the same feel and vibe as some of the classic games we love (Quest for Glory, Monkey Island, etc.), but with our own original twist. It will feature original artwork, animations, story-line, full voice-acting, and music. We're using the same "old-school" resolution as those classic 90's games to give it that retro nostalgia, but we are also implementing some modern art techniques, gameplay mechanics, music, and gameplay/story pacing that will cater to players of this generation... so that new-comers to "point-and-click" style games can understand and enjoy the experience, as well as by the veteran adventure gamers. The overall atmosphere and story will have a mysterious, yet exciting and dangerous feeling, that will be sure to keep players "on there toes".

Hello, IndieDB!

We (my brother and I) are currently developing a new point-and-click adventure called, Alum. We are honored to be hosted here on indieDB!

If you haven't seen or heard of Alum yet, it is a retro 90's style point-and-click adventure game that we had kick-started about 2 years ago.... and we have been working really hard since to finish this amazing adventure game for you guys!

Alum has the nostalgic feel of the classic point-and-click games (monkey island, kings quest, ect.), mixed with modern game-play elements and pacing that caters more towards this generation. The world, story, and characters lean towards a RPG-esque game while staying true to the classic point-and-click gameplay mechanics that you know and love :)

So, our game is scheduled for release sometime in January and we have just launched a green-light campaign for steam!... So we need your help to get "greenlit", so we are able to make Alum widely avaivable to the public, PLEASE help us out and vote us "Yes" on Steam:

Here is our trailer, showcasing some gameplay from Alum:

Also, we have a small demo of the first chapter that you can download here:

So try it out, vote us on "yes" on steam, and stay tuned for the games release. Thank you guys so much in advance, for any support and encouragement!

Cheers!

Anyone know how to escape from Mr. Glym's building ?
I 'm stuck in the e-bot transporter and don't know how to press the correct sequence of levers and buttons.
I haven't played the game for the last week because of this.
The walkthroughs that are available haven't mentioned this part yet.
