Follow your programming, fulfill your purpose
CONTINUE is a fast-paced and challenging hack and slash, set in a chaotic computer world. Cut and explore your way through colorful world branches, inhabited by programs designed to fill their one purpose. Some of them may be cute and cuddly, but others may want to tear you apart. Prepare to take on all kinds of enemies and bosses, that put all of your skills to the test. All of this is reinforced by an electronic soundtrack, that pulls you into the energetic rhythm of the combat.
Will you have what it takes to overcome these challenges, or will you get deleted like many others before you?
It's been a while since we've released any updates for CONTINUE, but this one is a big one. This is by far the biggest update for CONTINUE so far, and the biggest additions in this update were the time attack game mode, and steam achievements that offer you some new challenges. CONTINUE was always designed with the speedrunning aspect in mind, so we hope that this new game mode will encourage players into playing through the game again. The video below shows a small clip of this new mode in action.
We've also been listening to the feedback that we've gotten from our players, and we've made some large tweaks and balance changes to the game overall. We hope to bring some new players in with these changes, by making the learning curve of the whole game a bit more manageable, while also offering some new challenges for returning players. There are also quite a lot of simple quality of life improvements, that should make the gameplay experience more enjoyable for everyone. You can check out the full list of patch notes here.
Continue is available on Steam, and if you're interested in seeing more, check out the link below.
