Conquest of Elysium 3 is an old school fantasy strategy game. You explore your surroundings conquer locations that provides the resources you need. Resources needed vary much depending on what character you are, e.g. the high priestess need places where she can gather human sacrifices, the baron needs places where tax can be collected and where iron can be mined. These resources can then be used for magic rituals and troop recruitments. The main differentiator for this game is the amount of features and special abilities that can be used. The game can be played on Windows, Linux (x86 and raspberry pi) and Mac OSX (intel and powerpc).

The Conquest of Elysium 3 DB is available for download at my home page.

It contains the stats for monsters, spells, weapons, items and terrain for the game as well as sundry other stuff.

Notes:
- Monster data may contain errors, but should be mostly accurate
- Weapons as they appear on monsters are listed on a separate page
- Other weapon pages are raw data useful for modding, with most common stuff having their own pages
- Spell data may likewise contain minor errors, but should be accurate
- Weapon data is accurate, but weapons between 70 and 90 may be missing "strikes anywhere" if they had it
- Terrain data only includes relic income for very few terrain types. Other incomes are correct.
- Ritual list is massively out of date
- Recruitment lists are out of date, use the manual
- Glossary is sadly out of date, refer to in-game popups instead
- fx numbers are not yet used in modding, but may become available later
- Damage type data is accurate (confirmed from Johan)
- Everything else should be more or less accurate, but minor errors may appear

Feel free to use the document as a modding aid or to create derivative documentation, program tools or whatever else, as long as I get credit for the DB and its role.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

I notice that the Chosen of Dvalin is now shown as Front. Hopefully that is true (I have not seen it in any of the version update notes).

Thanks, this will be very helpful! Now we only need an updated modding manual to start modding.By the way, in the DB and in the game I saw the Unlife magic path, but it is not mentioned in the manual.

Note the caveat: Most data is correct, but it is not guaranteed to be error free.

Strabonic, the manual does not necessarily contain mention of all paths or all the other stuff that appears in the DB.

Unlife is the magic that Wraiths use. All Unlife spells except Symbol of Unlife also appear in the path of Necromancy, but Unlife is more specific in that it is the path of life draining plus Finger of Death and Bolt of Unlife whereas Necromancy deals with more general undeath, bane fire, disease and decay.

Other paths that are not mentioned are Prayer, Shamanism (which has no spells at present) and Iron Arcana.

Thanks a bunch for this...very cool! Also, a big kudos for the manual version stated in the download text on the IW page (I'm assuming that was you, Edirr). We appreciate your support, along with Gandalf and others, in imbuing the community with your skills.

You're welcome. :)

As for the manual, yes, that was me. All of the user documentation for CoE3 is my responsibility: Game manual, modding manual and map editor guide.

Thank you very much Edi. ^_^

Thank you very much! I appreciate this, and can only marvel at your skills, including your English skills. Am I correct in believing that English is not your native language? I enjoyed seeing a few elements of the spreadsheet in what appears to me to be Finnish (but I have no clue).

I too have my fingers crossed that the Chosen of Dvalin is now a Front unit. XD

You're welcome. You're correct that English is not my native language, but I know it as well as my native language outside of certain specialist subjects whose terminology I have never had occasion to learn. There shouldn't be any Finnish anywhere in the spreadsheet, though, since I made it from start to finish in English. Shouldn't be any Swedish either. There's a lot of jargon in the raw weapons data, though.

My native language has gotten fairly rusty itself, I am probably more comfortable and proficient (at least in professional contexts) in the language I have been living in the past 20 years. There are residues of what appears to be Finnish in the toolbars when I open the spreadsheet as an .xl file. I find that charming.

Apr 18 2012 Anchor

Whaaaaaat? That file was created from scratch on an English language Open Office 3.3 installation, modified as an ods file and then saved to xls format using that very same Open Office. There is a Finnish language Microsoft Office installed on the same machine, but the spreadsheet file was never opened in Excel.

So you can chalk that one up to some software bug or another.

Just thought I'd share this with you. As you can see from the screenshot, almost all of the commands in my toolbar are in German (since I have to use the terrible localized German version of Excel), except for what appears to be toolbar shortcuts for colors -- those are in Finnish, from what I can gather.

Oh yes. Tulostus = printing, syöttö = input and a few other words too. I have no idea why it does that, but probably the localizations. :D

I absolutely detest localized versions of primary software.

I haven't said thank you yet. I used your database for modding and it was a huge help! So thanks for making it.

might be an idea to sticky this thread so that people can easily see it, it's really not obvious that it even exists if you're just looking at the forum for the first time.

Edit: Will this be updated for the newest patches?

Good idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'll see about updating this if I have the time. No promises, though.

Thanks for your great work. Are there some minimal chances of updating? I'd want to help to fill CoE Wiki to the full :) when I'd have some free time. Could I use data from your DB? Should I give some credits or (c)?
Thanks in advance.
